Omagh Show 2014
5th July 2014
Iain and I headed off to Omagh and left the boys to milk (and get ready for Moycraig's Barbeque!). Although rain was forcast the showgrounds escaped all showers.
We just took 3 cows - Atley Hill Yellow Pamela (ayrshire), Priestland 4951 Shot Bedazzle (holstein) and Fordwich Saturn Genevive (jersey) and they didn't let us down. All 3 cows won their classes then their breed championships and Priestland 4951 Shot Bedazzle went on to win Interbreed Dairy Champion. To crown the day off she went on to win Champion of Champions. Her second champion of champions title this year!
This is a lovely show with a great atmosphere. The attractions are varied from the super music at the big lorry, food/craft stalls, the donkey derby as well as well supported animal classes.
