November News
30th November 2014
What a hectic month this has been.
John spent 2 super weeks in Canada. He thoroughly enjoyed his time with Ferme Blondin and thanks must go to Dan, Kim and Simone.
At home we probably had our busiest calving session ever. Marleycote Princess Jill had a beautiful dark roan dairy shorthorn heifer (either a Cotonhall Titan or a Llandovery Prides Prophet)
We also had a number of ET calves born. An ET Reality Gibbs heifer calf out of Priestland Potters Pamela and 3 ET Reality Gibbs bull calves out of Marleycote Sea Lily. The red and white theme crossed over into the holstein breed with 2 ET Acme heifer calves out of Cradenhill Rainy Red and an ET Joshi heifer calf out of Lillyhall LPT Dream.
There were 2 ET Windbrook heifer calves out of Priestland 4934 Goldwyn Ambrosia, an ET Atwood heifer calf out of Sahara Talent Licorice.
Among the natural born calves we have some interesting off-spring.
Priestland 5159 Damion Chanel had a Liquid Gold heifer calf,
Priestland Baltimor Paradise had an Heavenly Golden Dreams heifer calf,
Priestland 5371 Windbrook Laurel had a Goldwyn heifer calf,
Bluegrass Sargeants Delightfull had a Tequilla heifer calf,
Priestland 5223 Shottle Go Ambrosia had a Sid heifer calf
