All Breed All Britain Calf Show 2015

As holstein and ayrshire exhibitors at the calf show we would like to thank the sponsors who gave so generously to enable the two young breeder clubs to take calves and so participate in both the showmanship and calf classes being held in the Three Counties Showground.
The holstein showmanship classes were hotly contested and we were really pleased to see Brian Wetherup and Desmond McCorry placed first in the Junior and Intermediate classes - no mean feet considering the number and standard of entries. Lauren Henry was placed sixth in the senior class and Leiza Montgomery was placed fourteenth both competing against strong opposition.
The holstein calves were from our own Priestland herd along with Printshop, Ardmore and Hiltara herds. The best placed calf was Hiltara Doorman Apple who was third.
THe ayrshire showmanship classes didn't disappoint with Cameron Carson being place first and then he went on to secure Honourable Mention Champion Showman
The Ayrshire calves were really on form with John McLean's calf Sandyfard Marlow Clover was placed third in its class. Robert and Caroline McConnell's Beechmount Marie Girl 11 was placed first and John and Michael Humter's Ardmore Orphan 117 was also placed first.
Well done to everyone for all their hard work at the show - I think the results were tremendous and you all enjoyed yourselves!!
