We are situated on the north coast, 3 miles from the world famous Giant's Causeway and 2 miles from Old Bushmills' Whiskey Distillery.
We are a family run farm under the day to day management of Iain, Joyce & John McLean. We farm about 130 pedigree holstein milkers and 200 youngstock with a sprinkle of colour in the form of 16 jerseys, 30 ayrshires and 9 dairy shorthorns. The herd runs on about 118 hectares. The milking herd are housed on a mixture of waterbed & new cubicles (this includes the show cows).
The herd was only upgraded to pedigree status in the 1990s. In 2008 we invested heavily in Canadian and American cow families through the purchase of embryos. These have produced stylish off-spring which we have in turn flushed.
